I am a lifestyle photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa. A mum of beautiful and busy twins and a hippie at heart.
I previously had a long waffle of an essay on my about me page. Then I realised, no one really cares!
So here is the short version.
I have just started learning the guitar. We are never too old right? I am a ‘retired’ psychology teacher. I used to teach in London in my early twenties, I then moved on over into the world of creating art and expressing my creativity. I love colour. Wait, I flipping love colour! You will never see me wearing all black, although I do appreciate a good black and white image. If I had a tattoo (that I actually liked), it would probably be of a rainbow.
Music, cooking and dancing make me VERY happy. I am proficient at pouring a liquid into something with a very small neck. This is one of my greatest skills. You need me when you go camping. I am very handy and practical. I am allergic to caffeine and idleness. The former is legitimate and the latter just drives me dotty. I am a do-er for sure.
I dig human beings. I like their company and I like being one too.
Most of all, I LOVE being a photographer. I am inspired every day by regular people, by other artists and by life and its unfolding stories.
If you haven’t met me before, hello and welcome!
Feel free to drop me an e-mail about booking in a shoot (and hopefully we will meet in person soon).
